I bet that readers have already know about this thing and yet sometimes we're experienced it in life.Maybe when you're succeeded in doing something or winning a competition and you feeling like there's some satisfaction in yourself.
That's Self - Righteous
When talking this matter in Christianity from what i've learned from my mindset,some people articles and reading some historical Character in the Bible,the one thing i know about is this.
Self - Righteous "in" Christianity are quite dangerous
Why there's a word "quite" if you're asking ?
It could be your positive attitute "if" you're trying to stay humble in the process.
Making you not always boast in your self - righteousness but in the righteousness of Christ Jesus.
Well there's a negative thing in this one.
Because it's written in
Matthew 6 : 1 (NIV)
“Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
We as Christian can't live because on our self - righteous.
Remember !
We are justified not because of what we're doing but because of what Christ Jesus has did for us.
But in Christianity im sure there's some people who still devote to this thing, for example :
You said that you love Jesus and want to make Him famous but what you're doing now is boast your self - Righteous in front of other people.
This is dangerous when you don't feel this thing in your life.
No i ain't judging because me personally have felt this kind of thing too.
A self - righteous Christian is :
- Always thinking that what're they doing is right .
- Judging others to the bone.
- Doesn't want to be adviced.
- "This" People usually looks in the outside more than seeing in the inside.
- Cocky in the process.
This kind of people can be a stumbling block for others who're still new in Christianity(Romans 14 : 13 ),so people be careful of what're you doing in daily life.because without you knowing it many people are watching you.So guys always meditate God's word everyday and meditate what're you doing in daily life.
That's why in Christianity it's important to have such humbleness in your life and remember that we Christian lived focusing on what God's has made for us. ( 1 Peter 5 : 5 )
The point is to remember that all is for the Glory of God and understand your position in Christ !
There's so many things that i still want to share about this but i still couldn't think of good words in it so guys i hope that this'll inspire you all
