Law or Grace?

Okay..Law or Grace?

Which one do you prefer to?

Well it's your decision but we as Christians sometimes blinded by some religious words that in the outside it looks good for you,but actually will bring you down step by step.

For example


If you're a Christian don't do bad things then God will love you

Or

If you obey then you'll earn God


That's such a false statement for sure,because in John 14:15 it's clearly written that!


"If you love me, you will obey what I command"


see the big difference there?


Sometimes people think that there's some rules or some requirements that we need to do to earn God, we have to do good things everyday so that God will be pleased to you or maybe you have to leave bad things behind and what I command to you so that you get a reward from God.


It's true that we have to leave bad things behind but not based on rules or law concept but based on the pure love of Christ and spread the gospel,that's why some people get bored or maybe dissapointed


Why?


Because they do it because they "have" to!


That's dangerous for us Christians to have that kind of thought.


Why?


Because "Law" made us think that we have to live as a perfection in front of other people so that they'll see us as "Christian" and that's definitely super wrong!


We as Christian live based on Christ and nothing more! well there's nothing wrong with the choice of being living based on law well it's your decision and im not completely worried about it however you already know the consequences and the effect of it,well because in the first place it's said on Ephesians 2:8.


Ephesians 2:8 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God"


We were saved not because of our action.


But by the Grace.


That is a gift for us.


But!


That doesn't mean when you live based on Grace that you can do bad things or do sin freely,we still have to change our behavior and spread the gospel and become shine in the darkness but not because we "have" to but because we understand Jesus loves us so much so that you can leave the sin behind and live based not on law but by the Grace of God.


see the big difference there right?


that's Christianity all about,we live based on what Christ did,and surely connection and relationship with Jesus is needed on your daily because when you don't have personal relationship with Him because you'll earn nothing when you choose to live outside Him so the point is all start from the relationship with God and surely you'll understand the Grace He gave to us,and i personally choose to live by Grace not on law and still fighting in the marathon of life,so what do you prefer?
